What is DAS?

     DAS stands for Depression, anxiety and suicide. DAS is a research program funded by the National Research Coucil of Thailand (http://www.nrct.go.th/ สภาวิจัยแห่งชาติ-วช.) starting as of early 2012. DAS aims to investigate prevalence and correlates of late-life depression among 800 Thai elderly (DAS-I), and follow the participants who meet criteria for depressive disorders (according to DSM-IV TR) for at least 1 year in the hospitals (DAS-II).
